There are many places that you can get your art supplies,
we get most of our art supplies either from Blick Art Materials
in Pasadena, CA or Swain's in Glendale, CA. Swain's is a bit
pricy. They do offer a discount for Art Center's student but
even with the discount, the price is still not that good. The
only reason we buy from them is that they have some special
inkjet paper and ink we need from time to time. If you are just
getting regular art supplies, Blick is a good place to go. I usually
stock up a lot of art supplies and ink to avoid panicing in the
middle of the night for on rush projects. Blick will ship for free
on orders that's over $200 and they usually have a lot of
online specials.
